Falsled Kro - Denmark

FALSLED KRO

It was on the island of Fyn, “the garden of Denmark”, that Hans Christian Andersen was born, and it has been immortalised through his fairy tales. Today in Millinge, a small village on the island, other tales are being told, notably that of a man who makes his recipes into true Scandinavian legends. At Chef Kasper Hasse’s table, the salmon is smoked on site and the turbot comes with vegetables and herbs grown in the kitchen garden. Upstairs, guests can stay in small loft rooms with white brick walls, minimalist décor and soft lighting. At Falsled Kro, in the land of the aurora borealis, everyone will  have sweet dreams.
